but there actually wasn't a whole lot of Shakespeare stuff inside. Was still nice though. Then we caught the metro and I met with my mom and sister on the mall. We went to the National Archives, which was really cool. I'd never been there before. I was kinda sad that photography wasn't allowed, but I guess I understand why. After that we hopped the bus back to the camp for the night.

Sunday was a weird day. I hadn't slept much, my feet and ankle were really starting to get annoying and my face and neck was sunburnt pretty bad. I was just in a weird mood. I also think I took way too much medication for my ankle so I was a little out of it. I also had only eaten like, two fiber one bars and a cup of coffee. Regardless, we had tickets to go to Ford's Theatre for a tour, which was something I specifically asked that we do. So we went and it was a lot of fun and really interesting. The museum had a lot of interesting things in it including the gun that shot Lincoln and the pillow Lincoln laid on when they got him to the Petersen House and it had his blood on it. Then we got to go into the theatre and just walk around and see the box he was in when he was shot. I'm such a theatre nerd, so I was all over it ha ha

After that we went to the Petersen House for a short tour, a lil museum thing, and then a gift shop at the bottom. By that point I was so hungry I was getting weak and sick. So we made one more stop at a gift shop, and then got in the car and left. We had some pizza in the car so I munched down on that so I could get some food in me. Then we drove out of the city and started home. We got home around 7:30 last night, which was just in time for me to see the Tony Awards on tv ha ha

But it was a relatively fun trip. Took many MANY pictures.... I think my facebook album has around 160 pictures in it ha ha and I still feel like that's a small number!

However, with all the walking we did... I didn't lose any weight. I think I actually gained a pound or two. Ugh. I know it's just the new medicine I'm on. I looked up online recently and found a message board where other people were mentioning that they've all gained anywhere between 15 and 30 pounds while on this medicine... which sucks. I'm trying so hard to keep it in check, but it's still very very annoying. Blah!

Anyway, I'm gonna try to tidy up around the house. The pets went crazy while we were gone ha ha Hope everyone is having a nice Monday!

Later days!
