Mind Over Platter

The subconscious mind is like a heat seeking missile. It goes toward the target persistently and tirelessly. The target is what is programmed into your mind. This program includes your self-image.

In others words, who your unconscious mind thinks you are forms who you consciously become. We've talked about this a lot. I emphasize it because I want you to understand why it is so important for you to follow through with the assignments I am giving you. I hope you will trust me as your weight loss coach and follow my recommendations. I promise to guide you in a way that will empower you!

With that said, you need to consciously identify your weight loss goal so that your subconscious mind will mark this as THE target! Not a possible target, but the only target worth pursuing. You can't hit a moving target, which is precisely why I am asking you to clarify the end result and hit activate!

The simple way to activate your heat seeking missile is by writing down your goals. It is no accident that people who write down their goals achieve them at an accelerate rate. There are studies to support this! Why is there power in the written word? Maybe because your subconscious mind is reading what you write.

Sit down today, take a couple deep breaths to clear your mind. Think back to a time you felt healthy. What size were you? What did you weigh? What shape were you in? Let your mind settle on this with an open mind. Suspend all judgement. Write down your desired target with as much detail as possible. Once it is written, put it somewhere where you can see it daily.
