Heya,
Been a while since I've been on the site. This doesn't mean I haven't been working...perhaps not to the intensity I need, but my thoughts are definitely focused.
I joined the gym, and yesterday reached my personal best running time of 20mins! I know this might not seem a lot, but before, my PB was 7mins. So I feel great!
My calves are killing me though! I've got a great attitude at the moment, I'm very focused on my goals, but it's less about the weight and more about my fitness. Obviously, I would like to lose weight, but I've realised I really have to fix my mental attitude to food and fitness.
And I feel like I'm getting there! Almost like tricking yourself into being 'one of those people' who enjoys the gym and eats healthy. Fake it till you make it. And I've picked up some good habits along the way- I get what the endorphin high is during exercise, I'm listening to my body and how it reacts when I give it nourishing food. I'm working on my muscle development, I'm drinking green tea. I am respecting myself and my body, because it does a lot for me.
Plus, whenever I get out of breath on the treadmill, I worry I'd be the first to go in a zombie apocalypse movie!!
Hopefully tomorrow my Maximuscle diet protein shake, thermabol and CLA will arrive. I'm really excited to see what effect they'll have on my training!
Off to have my lovely lean turkey and veggies dinner. And half a glass of excellent red wine, of course!
