I was talking with a dear friend of mine the other day and we were talking about fun ways to journal our weight loss progress. She had such a fun and unique idea, that I had to share it with you all because it goes along with an earlier post of mine.

Once a month, tally up the amount of weight that you've lost (total amount, not just for the month), grab your camera and a friend, and head to your local grocery store! Then you can take pictures of yourself with items in the store that weigh the same amount of weight that you've lost! Put them in a fun scrapbook or album and when you go through it, you'll not only have a great visual of the difference in your physique from when you started, all these fun pictures! A great motivator and kind of funny! Plus, it may be a good exercise for those of us who tend to hide behind the camera taking the pictures instead of being the one in the pictures.

Opportunity is missed by most because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Thanks for sharing!

All the best,

Isn't amazing that at one point you carried all that weight around everyday!?!

I'd probably have to hold butter or pasta, my favorite foods! 75 pounds is a lot of weight! It would've been funny to see the meat drop to the floor. I bet your brother thought it was pretty funny.
