Has anyone heard of this workout and/or tried it? I've heard alot of good things about it, but on the other hand, I'm sure ANY workout would give you results if you kept with it.

For more info on P90X, surf: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P90X

If looking for a good pre-bundled exercise program (from cardio building, to muscle building, to stretching areas), I've read this program has it all. And, its very intense pace - which drive participant's inner passion / involvement. I plan to get this program next - when I get tired of my current Bill Banks / Tae-Bo videos.

If into cardio building, to muscle building, to stretching, do investigate Tae-bo program as well. re: http://www.billyblanks.com/ & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7ZsFjUIsbE

Last year, I found an old Richard Simons VHS Tape and enjoyed following it as well. re: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_mnLTLZlAs&NR=1 Richard was a little slower pace and less intensity then Billy Banks and P90X pace programs, but it too contained simular cardio build, muscle build and body stretching tasks. Think I'll focus on this slower pace tape when I get a little older (and need a slower pace routine).

If you pick a "store bought" prgram, do use it every day. To me, "daily usage" or "every other day usage" is the long term secret to sucess. Most folks use a store bought program for a few weeks, then it becomes a dust collector.

p90x is a pretty intense workout system but its all about works for some but not others you really have to follow it to a T using the diet all it comes down to is common sence and just excersize and healthy eating not spending 200 quid on dvds that tell you basic skipping rope jumps or crunch techniques.

Hi there. I'm a Team Beachbody coach and can answer any specific questions you have about P90X. It is an amazing program and if you follow it you will have great results, but the previous responses are correct; it is intense and not for everyone.

There are a lot of other options. I am currently doing ChaLEAN Extreme, which is a similar concept, but easier to fit into a busy schedule and a bit less intense. Once I finish it, I'm going to start my first round of P90X.

I'm also going to start a support/coaching group for people doing a Beachbody "extreme" program (P90X, ChaLEAN Extreme, or Insanity) in February, so let me know if you're interested.

Best,
Coach Kristen
