8 lbs since Dec is great!
I think your goals are very realistic, and the first thing to do is change unhealthy habits. I don't have as much weight to lose as you do, and I am actually nearing my halfway point in weight loss in my journey. If you change your lifestyle you will eventually get to where you want to be. It may be a long road but you didnt get where you are now in a year and each step is a step in the right direction.
I really admire someone like you who can see the silver lining.
It may take some time, but you are already in a better place than last year and each day it will get better and easier.
I have MS and exercise is a constant struggle for me, so I can relate to frustration with small steps as well.
Stay strong, you can do this!!!!

Hi there, keep up the good work. I am sorry to hear about the relationship breakup, I pray that you will be able to keep going with your weightloss and your exercise program and come to terms with the relationship loss.
Keep your chin up. There are lots of people here who, like you, have a lot to lose (weight wise) and then a lot go gain (a healthier, fitter, stronger life ahead).

Way to go! You are making great progress. Keep up the hard work and everything will become easier and easier.
I am working on the same amount of weight loss that you are. You are far from being in this alone! I have found this is a great site for support.

Great job on loosing 10#!!!
I want to be able to say that! Right now, the scale and I are fighting. Well, it's more of a staring contest. At a stand off right now. Not stepping on the scale yet. Maybe in a few weeks.

The good news is crying burns calories. Using it to release emotions is also good...
The better news is that the best way to let go/get revenge/move on, is to be happy.
Will you be happier when you loose the weight?
Will you feel better about yourself when the weight is gone?
Isn't that something worth working towards??
