|

My kids have been great. I bought a blender and for desserts, we have switched to making fruit smoothies. They love it, and it helps keep chocolate out of the house!!
Currently, we put in 1/2 cup ice cream, 1 cup low fat milk and 1 bag frozen fruits.
Any recipes/ideas that would make this with less calories without using yogurt (We really don't like yogurt)? |

| regular yogurt has a different taste than low fat frozen yogurt. I buy smoothies from a place in Texas called Thirsty's and they are the best! They use frozen yogurt and you cannot taste the yogurt at all. |

I make smoothies too. I tend to use just water and sometimes yogurt. I baught a lot of fruit, strawberries, blueberries, grapes. Anything small and then I freeze them. Saves on having to buy ice for the blending. |
