I just bought some melon to change things up. i am SO BAD at choosing melon. How do you know if it's ripe?? I bought noth a cantalope and a honey dew. The honey dew was not even close to being ripe enough....tough as a board....yuck. And the canatlope was wayyyyy ripe and if I had waited one more day it would've been yucky. LOL I give up!!!

I always check to see if the melon is soft on the ends like where the stem would be, and if it smells like a melon and if there is like a sunspot on it where the sun may have hit it. That sucks when you get one that's not been ripened, they are so expensive!

| I grown really fond of grapes the past two weeks. I buy the green grapes. I bought some for my neice a few weeks ago and tried some. They were delicious. Especially since they were fresh out the fridge. Nothing like nice cold grapes. |

I haven't had anything to eat yet today, but yesterday I had 1/4 cup of blueberries in my cereal, 1/2 banana and a HUGE apple.

It is spring... oh how I loooooooooooove the spring this past week there have been grapes, and pineapple (oh sweet natures candy) and the strawberries this year. I don't know about all of you but Strawberries last yr were HORRIBLE. They would smell so good in the store and I would buy them thinking, "Oh this batch will be beter." Then they would be bland and sad. This year oh sweet heavenly strawberries. I might OD on them before cherry and peach season.

Oh and my smoothie of choice lately has been pomegranate juice, fat free frozen vanilla yogurt, frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries. I bought a Honey bee boost from the local suppliment store that adds extra B, C and other good stuff without extra bad stuff so I toss that in too.
yummmm

I am looking forward to blueberries. I am going to pick some at the local farm and freeze a whole bunch, cause they are so #@*#%@# expensive!!! And I love them, especially in smoothies. I am going to have a peach banana smoothie today and I have a big, fat avocado that is perfectly soft to cut into for lunch, yummmyyyyyyyyy!
