Celebrity Diet

Star Health secrets according to People Magazine. People is better known for it’s gossip and celebrity exploits rather than diet tips but here is a sample of what they believe is going to help stars stay looking great in ’08.

They recommend focusing on one new healthy habit each day. Here is a list:

Fergie- Adds Vinegar. Swallows 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar after lunch and dinner.

Ryan Seacrest – Used to be fat! Relies on protein from fish. Eats a big plate of raw fish before live shows of AI.

Eva Longoria – Drink More Water. Takes in 3 liters a day! Drink half your body weight in ounces. So how much does that mean she weighs? Well it means she weighs 200 lbs. I think she drinks her ACTUAL body weight in ounces.

Katherine Heigl – Eat mini meals. She is apparently on the 5 factor diet or at least she is paid to be and eats 5 high protein meals.

Kelly Ozborne – Ban booze. I mean ban booze? Say what? She did? "I stopped doing drugs and drinking," the actress told PEOPLE. "The weight literally dropped off." The reason? "Drinking alcohol is like eating sugar with a spoon," says Pachella. If you can't completely ban booze, indulge in one glass of red wine or a lower-calorie cocktail such as rum-and-Diet Coke.

Alicia Silverstone – Go Veggie! Eat more vegetables. They fill you up because they contain fiber and an added bonus is they provide antioxidants.

Gweneth Paltrow – Drink Green Tea. Do it instead of snacking, increase water intake as well as antioxidants. If you don’t like green, go ahead and try white.

Kirstie Alley – Snack Sugar Free. Not sure about this one, I’ve heard sugar free may make you more hungry. However it does work great for mindless munching like jell-o with cool whip or sugar free popcicles. If your in the mood to just eat and not think about calories, sugar free aint a bad way to go, but be careful because too much will cause gas and bloating.

Jennifer Aniston – Try budukon, it’s a combination of martial arts, yoga, and meditation.

Alicia Keys – Refresh at the spa. Yeah, wouldn’t we all love to just be able to do this? Well, if you can go whenever you need a little time to de-stress then good for you!

Fergie: Exercise a Top Priority

Frequently photographed exercising, Fergie is posing on the cover of the August issue of Self. Categorized as one of the healthy looking bodies of the Hollywood heavy weights, the former meth addict speaks up about her struggle to fight her past habit and staying healthy.



Shape reports that Fergie works out for an hour a day, five days a week, running 3 miles on the beach or doing calisthenics outdoors with her trainer. I normally do not believe what these magazine say when they report on how much time a celeb exercises or how many calories they eat, but for once I do.

Fergie has a healthy looking body, and she actually is photographed running on the beach or doing calithenics outside with her trainer or bunny Josh Duhamel.

"Working out is really the top thing in my life that I do for my own self esteem and self-worth," she says. "When I'm exercising, I get really proud of myself because I know I'm doing everything in my power to be healthy."

Obviously she also watches what she eats. She has also recently cut down on alcohol. She admits that she "blows" one meal a day, citing that she would probably weight pounds less if she didn't. I didn't immediately understand what "blow" meant in this context, but I'm gonna assume it means, she eats 2 healthy meals a day and usually gives in on a third somewhere. Any ideas?

Maxim Reveals Hot 100, Curves Rule

Maxim Magazine has released its Hot 100 list. The list is chosen based on “the most successful women of the year with undeniable beauty and a promise of greater things to come over the next year.” Looks like we aren’t the demographic they are looking for because the magazine chose Lindsey Lohan as number one this year!

Maybe I’m biased having been one of the only people in America that actually paid to see Georgia Rule this weekend but seriously, Lohan?! On a more positive note, at least she nabbed the top spot at a time in her life that she actually has a little bit of meat on her bones. Yes I agree that she can cause quite a stir in regards to the paparazzi and Hollywood gossip but she is an actress and should be known for her trade. The actress/wanna be singer has not had a box office hit since ‘Mean Girls’ and that was in 2004, three years ago! Now tell me Maxim Magazine, why do you see promise of greater things to come over the next year for the little vixen who seems to be amid a rehab relapse?

Anyway, the others that round out the top ten are Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson, singer Christina Aguilera, actresses Jessica Biel, Ali Larter, Eva Mendes, singer Rihanna, Eva Longoria and singer Fergie. This makes me extremely pleased to see these successful women chosen by men, and you know what… pretty much of them have curvy bodies and love their figures. People Magazine featured most of them in their beautiful people issue under the “Curves Rule” headline. Ironic?

Left off the list were soon to be jail bait Paris Hilton and the crazy maybe legally insane Britney Spears. Ashley Olsen made the cut but sister and recovering anorexic Mary Kate did not. Ashlee Simpson beat out sister Jessica! That must have been a first, oh wait no it’s not, Ashlee has sold WAY more albums than her big sis.

Yeah men pick this list, but if you take a look, I was happy with most of their choices, I haven’t looked to see who all 100 are yet, I will later today, but at first glance (sans Lohan) well done Maxim for letting women know you like a us with a fuller figure.
