Renee the Rollercoaster
Renee Zellweger is famous for her starring roles and extreme weight loss & gain.
She packed on weight for Bridget Jones’s Diary, lost it for Chicago, and gained it again for the Bridget Jones sequel, leaving the media amazed. Renee, on the other hand brushed off the comments, saying, “What's interesting is why the fixation. It's such an infinitesimal part of the characterization. I mean, who cares?”

While I like her attitude, that won’t keep anyone from trying to figure out how she did it. Sources say Zellweger “began visiting a gym for daily, two-hour workouts. Her meals were mainly tuna or cold meat coupled with dressing- free salads and raw vegetables. In June, she checked into the £2,500-a-week Ashram Spa in Calabasas, California. Visitors share rooms with a stranger and do a 12-mile hike every day.”
The actress has never really been a healthy role model for me. She joked that 20 minute lunch breaks helped her stay fit: “That's all we got on the set. At that point, I was like, you know, forget it. And running around … everywhere, that helps.”

Okay, Renee is 37 years old- how is she losing weight like a teenager? Kathy Griffin has created an empire based on Zellweger drug jokes, which is a very popular speculation.
But Renee says not to trust the media and gets a kick out of reading what people say she’s doing to slim down, “I'm like, oh, oh, I'm doing that diet now – that's fantastic! Good for me!”
I think she looked great when she was heavier.
