Celebrity Diet and Exercise Secrets for Summer
Now, that we know Courtney Love didn’t get a gastric band, she is revealing to People magazine just how she lost 52 pounds since December 2006. Last week I talked about her response to the rumors in a barely comprehendible blog and now she is giving us her secret to success. The boat is still out in my book on whether or not she is clean after her blog (Or maybe she just isn’t literate).
“The singer says she's dropped the 52 lbs. since Dec. 21, starting out drinking 1,200-calorie Isopure shakes during the day and eating fish and vegetables at night. She also added a fitness routine that incorporated running on a treadmill, Pilates and yoga. She also had her breast implants removed. "I just quietly did it, you know?" she says.”
We always see pictures of celebrities out at night clubbing, on set, or walking hand in hand with their latest hubby with a starbucks in hand. There have been a lot of pictures lately showing celebrities leaving the gym. These ladies work hard for their bodies. Check out his picture of Jessica Alba leaving the gym. She is drenched with sweat. Wonder what she did inside?

Other celebrities frequently photographed leaving the gym are Cameron Diaz, Fergie and Jessica Biel. Jennifer Aniston is often shown running around LA and more recently Tori Spelling and her husband were also photographed jogging together around tinsel town.
They reveal in this week’s In Touch magazine how they stay in shape and are preparing for bikini season (which is year round for globe trotting celebs if you ask me.)
Vanessa Minnillo says that she eats four small meals a day. Beyonce hula-hoops for hours on end. Cameron Diaz eats whatever she wants but exercises like a fiend. Pink’s trainer has her drink a special “fat-burning” lemonade for 11 days. Jessica Biel eats five protein and veggie meals a day. Denise Richard counts calories. Scarlett Johanson still has age and metabolism on her side and does little to stay in shape, which is also why she is not a member of the scary skinny crowd. Rod Stewart’s daughter and Paris Hilton BFF (at one point) Kimberly Stewart reveals that she keeps her figure in check with a healthy diet and an exercise regime of yoga, spinning, running and, more unusually, pole dancing lessons.
Feel free to post any tips you have or if you know any other secrets of celebs, but these aren’t really secrets in my opinion, just different approaches to healthy lifestyles (sans Pink).
