Beyonce's Nasty Diet

The former Destiny's Child singer and successful actress has admitted to going on a 10 day Fast, drinking 8-12 glasses a day of a pepper, lemon juice, water, and maple syrup shake in order to slim down for a movie role.



On other occasions, Beyonce has revealed that she eats a tiny lunch so she can stay slim. Her micro-meal consists of six slices of tomato and four slices of cucumber. She told a magazine, "I have to. Photos make you fatter, television adds pounds, and discipline is very important in this profession."



The singer has hired a personal nutritionist make her low fat, low carbohydrate meals, but it seems like her fad diets don't last very long. She usually has a healthy, curvey figure- these insane diet schemes are surprising!

When it comes to work outs, Beyonce works out in the gym five days a week... and that's before she practises her dance routines.

"I go through agonies to keep my stomach as flat as possible - though it is never flat enough for me."

She has been reported to run intervals between unhill sprint, saying that, "Changing it keeps me from being bored out of my mind. Plus, you burn more calories that way. And when I run, I listen to what I recorded the night before. The music helps me get through the running, and the running helps me decide if I like the song. I usually start thinking about the video, and I think, 'OK, I have to get tight.' It gives me the drive to keep going."

In her Goldmember days in 2003, Beyonce used to take yoga. "Every time I take a class, I want to cry. I don't know if it's because I'm relaxing, or if it's that by the end of the class, your body can do things it couldn't do in the beginning, so you feel accomplished and emotional. It's therapeutic."

Celebrity Weight Gain: A new trend?

It's statistically proven that those who succeed at losing weight will most likely gain it back. Bummer, I know. This rule of thumb didn't seem to apply to celebrities. Once they become ultra skinny, the make it seem like they need to try even harder to gain weight back. Uhhhhh, sure Nicole Richie, keep telling yourself that...

However, instead of a celebrity skinny anorexia watch, I feel like lately the paparrazzi has been on a "Who gained what where watch." Just recently, I featured a picture of Janet Jackson who seemed to gain most of the weight she had lost back. I say give the girl a break, who cares. Obviously she was on a diet, and never adopted a healthy lifestyle, as we here at Diet.com try to infiltrate.

Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavalleri seen here on the beach this past week in a bikini shows off her little beer belly. I genuinely like Kristin for this picture. She isn't trying to be too strict with herself. She clearly eats and liked to go out, and is enjoying her 15 minutes, why waste it as a miserable person who lives at a gym and counts every carrot. She has a good body but she has gained a few in the belly since the last time we saw her in a bathing suit. Maybe she just got caught without her signature move, sucking it in!


Another celebrity known for her weight ups and downs is Beyonce. This recent photo looks like B. is embracing her curves once again. The famous detox/liquid juice faster praised the results of her Dream Girls diet, but admitted it was not something she could maintain. Ya think? This picture should be side by side with every endorsement for that ridiculous diet. "Lose Weight for a Month, gain back double in a year."

Here's another favorite of mine, Scarlett Johansson. This picture also looks like she has gained a few.

Kim Kardashian works out like a princess?

Riding the coattails of socialite/reality star/actress/singer Paris Hilton can do wonders for your career if you are good looking, have a famous parent and a lot of money. Just ask Nicole Richie or Kimberly Stewart. The latest friend to launch herself into the spotlight is Kim Kardashian. You may remember hearing something about a sex tape with her then boyfriend Ray J (singer Brady’s brother, recently linked to dating Whitney Houston). Well, if you’ve seen that tape and want to know how she got her killer body, now you can.

I am not kidding. Kim Kardashian, whose physique is similar to J.Lo and Beyonce, now has a five-minute downloadable fitness program titled The Kim Kardashian Workout…For Your Mind, Body and Spirit. I had to check it out to believe it.
First you go to her official website. Wow, this girl is full of herself. Pink background, tiara’s galore, a bio that describes her childhood as a fairy tail, cue the vomit. Who is this girl again? Seriously, you titled you workout, The Kim Kardashian Workout Exercise Fit for a Princess?! To view the program, you must pay $2.99 or you can purchase the workout cards for $5.99 that have pictures of beautiful Kim on the outside, pink of course.

Instructed by Kathy Kaehler, Hollywood trainer and former NBC Today Show fitness expert, you too can learn how to get the body of a new tabloid magnet! I think the cards a great idea, but on the website they look more like Barbie taro cards.

It’s nice to see one Paris’ gal pals promoting healthy body images. However I am confused why she has a workout video with a Hollywood trainer? I guess her sex tape that was “mistakenly” leaked has generated enough buzz that people are demanding how she stays in shape! Whatever, I guess you gotta ride your 15 minutes of fame before they are up. Looks like it might be worth a look, and it’s not too expensive.

Does anyone else have any opinions on the absurdity of these people who have no talent, are not movie stars, are not singers but they make the Hollywood club rounds so therefore we are suppose to believe they are celebrities and everything they do is newsworthy? The only thing that differentiates Kim is that she does have a great body, so I guess this was her calling? (Now picture me looking up at the sky in a ditzy gaze, wondering if I just answered the golden question)



Note to my readers, I dyed my hair dark in the Fall and felt it was appropriate to come clean and change my photo to reveal my brunette locks. I am still the same Diet Diva, and it feels to good admit I am no longer a blonde!
